Sorbet Silk Chiffon 24” Necklace. A beautifully subdued statement piece featuring a 3” x 2” bisque focal pendant gilded with variegated metal leaf, accented with red, blue and green mica powder, and finally sealed with spray lacquer. The chiffon strands run beside green and tan waxed lined cord, that has been knotted with fine Japanese seed beads. Hand forged metal findings are accented with faceted Jasper and Adventurine beads. The shepherds hook clasp sports a wrapped bead as well, giving this piece nice detail.
Bisque is lightweight and makes lovely jewelry, but tends to crack in a bear hug.
